Can someone help me please.
Hello guys,
I am new here.. my story is i always had a very light scoliose but it was not hurting and it was not worse but when i was 18 i was abused and beaten up and that made my scoliose worse and especially my head. Its very assymetrical after the tragic and it hurts so much i feel a lot of pressure at the left side of my head and one side comes more forward of my head like my head and ribcage etc.
I live in holland and i went to the orthopedic, but they say my scoliose is not that serious and they can not do nothing for me. i am soo depressed because i feel mostly a lot of pain and pressure in my head and jaw.. i dont know what to do.
This is an old photo of my scoliose 2012, but you see that my head is not assymetrical because of the thorocal scoliose i think?
I hope you could give me some advice:)
Thanks for reading this!

Hi Dutchie,
on these pictures the curve itself seems not that big (but still easy to see), but the spine is out of balance. The vertebral bodies should be centred above the sacrum, but your upper vertebral bodies move to the side. It's just speculation, but that might cause pain.
I am afraid I do not know good orthopedics in Holland. However, if you could make it, there are a few very good ones in Germany. You can see a list here:

If it is not possible for you to see one of those in Germany and you don't find a good orthopedic in Holland, you could try go to an osteopathic in Holland. Some people are very satisfied with osteopathy, some are not, but you could at least give it a try. They look at the whole body and how everything works together.
Kind regards,
mick

Thank you for the reply!
Is it possible to correct the spine with the rahmouni korset because it is showing in my face and shoulder that is not symmetrical.
